Welcome to the Primary School Water Polo competition in Wellington for Term 1 2025.

Games start on Monday 10th February and will run until Monday 7th April, 2025. 

Games are held at Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre on Mondays from 4.00-7.30pm. We try to rotate the game times over the course of the season but all full pool grades will play from approximately 5.30/6pm depending on the number of entries. 

Our IT system is great for organising the teams and billing, but the draw system is difficult so we will be using a google sheet for the draw agains this term. 
Once the draw is live we will post the link here so that families are able to access it. 
The draw is updated every Wednesday once the season starts. 

You can see the competition information and rules by clicking on one of the grades below. The rules are the same across all grades, while the competition information has minor differenced (Some grades play in slightly different places and times). The first team listed on the draw plays in WHITE caps while the second team plays in BLUE caps. 

We have a scoring system for each game, you will need one person for one half of your game to record the goals scored by either team. This is to make sure that what is on the flip scores and the score sheet match. 

Please be aware if your school is entering multiple teams into this competition that no higher grade player may play down in your lower grade teams. If this happens the lower grade team will have their match score defaulted. A lower grade player may play up in a higher graded team only twice in the course of the season and must move to the higher graded team to play additional matches for that team.
