Primary Schools

Harbour City Hawks run water polo competitions in Wellington city for primary schools in Terms 1 and 4. They are a great way to introduce children to the sport, while playing with their schoolmates.

• Mini Polo is targeted at children up to Year 6 (most are Years 5-6). They play a simpler version of water polo at the shallow end of the pool, and children can choose to swim or stand.
• Water Polo is targeted at Years 7-8 children, although younger children are welcome to play. It is played in the 5m diving pool area, so children need to be confident swimmers. Games are on Monday afternoons.

All games are played at Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre.

Registration details for Term 4 2022 competitions will be provided in the second half of Term 3 2022.
